Ayurvedic doula care & yoga for pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood

“After birth there is a sacred window of time, a time for complete rejuvenation of a woman’s physical, mental and spiritual health. A time for deep, extended bonding with her newborn. The first 42 days after birth set the stage for her next 42 years “ - Ysha Oakes

Meet anna

Hi, I’m Anna — a mother, yoga teacher, and Ayurvedic postpartum doula devoted to helping you rejuvenate, recover, and thrive. My intention is to support you in deeply resting, nourishing yourself, feeling held, and staying fully present through your pregnancy, birth, and fourth trimester — as you transition from maiden to mother, whether it’s your first baby or your fifth. You are not meant to walk this path alone.

My approach blends Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, evidence-based knowledge, and both traditional postpartum and newborn care practices. I offer gentle, actionable guidance to support a soft landing into this profoundly powerful time.

Together, we’ll set intentions, build your village of support, and create a postpartum experience that feels deeply nurturing and loving. Because a nourished mother creates a nourished family — and when you take care of yourself and fill your own cup, you can experience motherhood from a place of abundance.

My offerings:

Postpartum Doula Support

Three full-spectrum packages designed to support and nourish you throughout your postpartum journey. With on-demand care and weekly in-home visits, you’re given space to rest, recover, and gently transition into motherhood. As your doula, I care for and honour you— emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Support may include nourishing meals, herbal care, Ayurvedic abhyanga, newborn guidance, and hands-on support so you can restore and feel at ease.

Mother’s Blessing Event

Planning a baby shower? Consider a more mother-centred gathering. A Mother’s Blessing Way is a nurturing ceremony that brings together a woman’s village to honour, support, and celebrate her as she prepares to welcome new life. Focused on connection rather than gifts, it marks motherhood as a sacred rite of passage— leaving her feeling seen, held, and deeply loved.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Yoga

In-home, personalised yoga sessions to support you through pregnancy and the tender postpartum window. These practices are designed to help you feel embodied, supported, and deeply connected to your changing body and your baby. Each session is intuitively tailored to your individual needs, weaving together gentle movement, breath awareness, and the use of supportive props. We close with sound bath, allowing you to fully rest, integrate, and leave feeling grounded, nourished, and held.

The ayurvedic postpartum support:

nourishment

Rekindle your Agni (digestive fire) through easily digestive Ayurvedic foods, medicated ghee, herbs and nourishing and hydrating infusions.

Bodywork

Restore and realign your body’s vital energy through abhyanga massage, benkung belly binding, herbal baths, restorative yoga and sound therapy

mind & Soul

Mother’s Reviews

  • “ I just completed my postpartum journey with Anna today and it’s been an absolute 5 star experience. I was the first one among my mum friends to hire a postpartum doula, so I wasn’t sure what to expect and whether this was something I really needed but now looking back I would definitely put this on the top of the list of things that where worth the investment preparing for baby’s arrival!

As a first time mum, giving birth away from my home country without neither of our parents living near to give us a hand daily, Anna’s help and care was one of the things I looked forward to most during the week! From the reassuring pre-birth visit to the beautiful welcome to the world food basket she brought to the hospital and every time she visited us at home afterwards, I had a great experience. First of all, she has such a positive and soothing presence that it feels like love and light is visiting your home! 😊 Whether we would do a session focusing on baby or me it was almost therapeutical. The delicious food drops were indispensable particularly in the first 2 weeks when we barely had time for anything before my mum arrived to give us a hand. But moreover all her tips & remedies whether for postpartum self-care or baby care were so spot on and valuable - products she brought, books she lend me, links she sent over - any questions I had she was there to answer them, which I really appreciated. Anna is passionate about what she does and she goes the extra mile. Thanks to her I felt taken care of and reassured during my 8 weeks postpartum. She reminded me that it’s the 2 of us, baby and mama, that need attention and care during that time! And who knows, maybe that is also one of the reasons (apart from having the sweetest and easiest baby) that I experienced no baby blues whatsoever post birth, just pure bliss and excitement about being a mama!

    Thank you Anna ❤️❤️❤️ “

  • “ Anna provided me with the physical and emotional with support which I hadn’t realise how much I need, after giving birth via c-section to my second child. Anna first visited me just days after giving birth to my son, suppling me with a tailored care package consisting of healing teas, foods (oh so delicious foods!), an infused bath soak, message and a homemade body lotion. Whilst I soaked away in the bath Anna took my son in a baby wrap and my toddler down to the kitchen to whip up some more gut healing treats - it was magical. Anna has a wonderful mothering instinct and both my babies were taken care of during that time whilst I simply relaxed in the bath. After that initial visit Anna continued over a few weeks to pop by and drop care package and was always just at the other end of a quick whatsap to talk to. Anna has fantastic knowledge and a genuine love for the care which she provides. Her USP is truly her kind and nurturing nature! What a wonderful experience -thank you Anna “
