My Journey
My path into this work began with the healing of both myself and my children.
For many years, I lived with hormonal imbalances, PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid challenges, and lifelong allergies. When Western approaches didn’t offer the answers I was seeking, I felt called to look deeper. This search led me into holistic health, ancestral wisdom, and nature-based healing — where I began rebuilding my agni (digestive fire), restoring balance, and cultivating ojas, the essence of vitality.
Through nourishment and lifestyle shifts, I was able to heal my lifelong allergies and support my body back into balance. After years of conscious nourishment, I conceived naturally — even after being told it would likely be impossible without medical intervention. During pregnancy, my intuition guided me toward deeper nourishment, including returning to animal-based foods after 10 years of being vegan.
Motherhood deepened this calling.
My first birth was an unplanned cesarean followed by a challenging, unsupported postpartum. My second birth — a deeply empowered VBAC — was met with nourishment, rest, and support, creating a postpartum experience filled with ease and joy. These two contrasting experiences showed me just how essential proper postpartum care truly is.
When my second child developed severe eczema and food allergies in early infancy, I again turned to food as medicine — supporting our family’s microbiome through ancestral nutrition and gut-focused healing. Within weeks, his skin healed and his allergy resolved, despite being told it would likely be lifelong.
These lived experiences revealed to me the profound vulnerability and power of the postpartum window. They shaped my dharma: to support mothers in restoring their vitality, strengthening their ojas, and nourishing themselves and their families through intentional care.
This lived experience informs every part of my work.
